Resume/CVI'm a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering with research interests at the intersection of discrete event simulation and optimization. I focus on applying these methods to critical areas such as crisis response planning, school safety, and mental health and integrate it with AI and machine learning which allows my simulations to be predictive, adaptive, and data-informed. I'm passionate about interdisciplinary approaches that advance public safety and strengthen societal resilience.

Caden worked with the lab from Sept 2024-May 2025. Currently, he is on a Pre-Med track with a desire to specialize in radiology. Caden created a case study dataset for Honolulu, HI. His case study expands the dataset that feeds the crisis intervention planning tool.
