I am currently researching different modeling techniques with a focus on healthcare operations. I plan to go into academia and teach after completing my PhD
I'm a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering with research interests at the intersection of discrete event simulation and optimization. I focus on applying these methods to critical areas such as crisis response planning, school safety, and mental health and integrate it with AI and machine learning which allows my simulations to be predictive, adaptive, and data-informed. I'm passionate about interdisciplinary approaches that advance public safety and strengthen societal resilience.
Julia works on developing the online crisis intervention planning tool.
Toni works on developing the online crisis intervention planning tool. After college, she hopes to advance to medical school with the goal of becoming a physician.
